Will my phone get IMEI-blocked using an eSIM in Turkey?
No. The 120-day IMEI registration rule applies to foreign phones using Turkish operator SIMs. Travel eSIMs roam onto Turkish networks as a visitor, so the block never applies.
Does data work in Cappadocia's balloon-ride areas and underground cities?
Above ground, yes, Göreme and Uçhisar have solid 4G on Turkcell and Vodafone. Inside Derinkuyu's deeper levels you'll lose signal, like everyone else.
Is WhatsApp calling blocked in Turkey?
No, WhatsApp, FaceTime and Telegram calls all work normally. (That's a UAE problem, not a Turkish one.)
